MEMHCA reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. Classes affected by inclement weather may be rescheduled. (In this case you may request a full refund if you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date).
If MEMHCA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Registrants will be notified first by email and if we are unable to reach you, we will notify registrants by phone.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or to transfer registration to the same event at a new, future date.

Registration Cancelled by Participant

Unless specifically stated on the registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 5 calendar days before the event.
Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a $10 processing fee.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
Cancellations will be accepted via phone or email.
Refunds will be paid by check within 14 calendar days of receipt of the refund request.

The above policies apply to all events held by MEMHCA unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

 Grievance Procedure
MEMHCA  is interested in resolving problems and grievances as promptly as possible. Please review the steps below for discussion and resolution at higher levels of authority as necessary.
Statement of General Principals

Complaints must be fully described by the person with the grievance
The person served with the grievance should be given full details regarding the allegations/complaints against them. They should also have reasonable time to document their perspective of the situation.
Proceedings should be conducted honestly, fairly and within a timely manner.

The person serving the grievance attempts to resolve the conflict informally and verbally as close to the source as possible.

If matter is not resolved:

The person serving the grievance will notify MEMHCA in writing about the complaint/allegations, stating remedy sought. An informal discussion will be held in a timely manner.
If matter is not resolved:

MEMHCA will gather statements from both parties and will review written materials and provide a written response to the person serving the grievance, and may communicate with other parties if deemed relevant.

If matter is not resolved:

The person serving the grievance will be advised of his/her rights to pursue the matter with external authorities if they desire.
